Welcome to Chiltern Primary School, where inspiring education takes place in a village setting nestled in the heart of Northampton. As a Local Authority School, we take pride in providing an enriching learning environment for children from Reception to Year 6, offering 30 places in each year group.
Our school is a true hidden gem, boasting extensive outdoor grounds that contribute to a holistic educational experience. The large playing field, well-equipped playground with a trim trail and sports equipment create an environment where children can explore, play, and learn. Additionally, we have an adventure climbing frame complemented by a woodland area, adding a touch of excitement to outdoor activities.
For our youngest learners in Phase 1, we offer a dedicated outside learning space featuring a covered area, mud kitchen, and reading shed. This unique space encourages creative and immersive learning experiences in the fresh air.
The original building has undergone a complete refurbishment, now providing a bright and fresh learning environment. Our facilities include a large, well-resourced library, a dedicated Design and Technology room, a music room, and a Nurture hub, all designed to support a diverse range of learning experiences.
At Chiltern Primary School, we prioritise the well-being and educational development of each child. With a high adult-child ratio, our well-trained and dedicated staff provide valuable support and guidance. In every classroom, at least one Learning Support Assistant is present, and our team includes specialist staff such as an Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA), Family Support Worker, Librarian, and a Sports Coach.
We invite you to be a part of our school community, where every child's journey is nurtured, and learning is an adventure. At Chiltern Primary School, we strive for excellence, creating an environment where each child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
